Commercial Licenses

Commercial licences allow independent makers to produce and sell a limited number of finished physical pieces from a nominated pattern by The Toymaker’s Journal.

Each design is assigned a licence tier according to its scale, complexity and finished retail value. Licences are non-exclusive, apply to one nominated pattern only, and are sold separately from the pattern itself.

The Toymaker’s Journal may limit or discontinue commercial licensing for any design to protect the scarcity and market value of the finished work.
